Our journey in the field of health and nutrition has been extremely rewarding and life-transforming, both personally and professionally. This journey has also been an eye-opener, with so many myths busted, old knowledge re-evaluated and new facts discovered. If there is one take-away I can share with you all, it’s this: Our body has an incredible ability to repair, rejuvenate and heal itself. How can you help your body achieve this goal?
When we launched our liposomal range of products, it was built on this very premise: to support the body in its ability to self-heal and self-repair with the help of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Today, there is a constant exposure to pollutants and toxins in the form of processed foods, medications and chemical laden cosmetics and personal care products. We are more stressed than ever before, mentally, physically and emotionally. All these external triggers place a burden on the body and drain the body’s vitamins and minerals, leading to chronic deficiencies, imbalances and oxidative damage. Addressing these deficiencies and providing the body with additional reinforcement/support to fight this damage is the need of the hour.
Long-term, unaddressed nutritional deficiencies can cause inflammation and disease in the body. It also increases the risk of premature ageing and reduces your quality of life. Whether it is vitamin C, vitamin D3, CoQ10, resveratrol or magnesium, every micro-nutrient or compound works in its own special/unique ways to keep the body in equilibrium and empower it to repair the damage, fight premature ageing, and delay the onset of chronic ailments.
What next? This question was not only important to us in terms of expanding our business and its vision, but in terms of helping our customers. There was so much more to this simple question. In the world, where many roads are misleading us towards medical treatments that are sometimes needless, expensive and even damaging - not to mention counter-productive in some cases (statins anyone?) - we knew we needed something extra, something more that can address the root cause and not just treat the symptoms with drugs that have severe side-effects. So, what next?
Herbal supplements
After having launched vitamins, minerals and other antioxidants, it was the world of herbs that held so much promise for us. It made sense. It seemed natural. And it seemed only logical to take this step. We had already seen people around us moving towards natural alternatives, such as curcumin and ashwagandha, to manage their pain and relieve their stress and anxiety. In our pilot program, after many months of research we decided to launch some very special herbs that are highly valued for their healing benefits. For example, bhumi amla for liver and detox, brahmi for cognitive health, ashwagandha for stress and curcumin for pain and inflammation, and some known for their excellent nutritional profile, for example moringa. Herbs are a rich source of bioactive compounds, vitamins and trace minerals. These herbs when used along with a healthy diet, adequate sleep and regular exercise can help the body achieve its internal balance.
What is even more fantastic is that we have launched our products as single herbs. And all these single herbs can be combined in so many exciting ways to get the maximum benefits and advantage. One can choose Ashwagandha for stress and anxiety and Brahmi for improving memory and focus. Or you can combine both these herbs to get the best possible pack for your mental well-being. Want to add a bit more zing to this pack? You can add turmeric to this combination to make an all-rounded bundle for your brain health, complete with its anti-stress, anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory and memory boosting powers. We have some amazing combinations to offer, for example, Immunity Booster (Giloy, Ashwagandha, Turmeric); Joint Protection (Shallaki, Turmeric, Ashwagandha), Natural Detox (Bhumi Amla, Turmeric, Gokshura), and Multi-vitamin (Moringa, Ashwagandha, Shatavari).
